Fire Season is from April 1 through October 31. No daytime burning is permitted. Fire permits are required during fire season and are available at the East Ferris Municipal Office at 390 Highway 94. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Please observe these rules for open air burning.
Open Air Burning after October 31st
Civic addresses are the 911 signs at the end of your driveway. The signs are to be placed at a 90 degree angle from the traveled portion of the roadway so that the numbers are visible from both directions. It is the property owners' responsibility to maintain the sign and post. The Fire Department will repair/replace them if required and an invoice will be sent to the property owner.
