The East Ferris Memorial Park is located at the corner of Corbeil Road and Highway 94.
Erected and dedicated in 2012, the granite monument stands three (3) metres tall set on an expansive interlocking stone courtyard and walkway. The courtyard, featuring 3 exhibits representing the community's armed forces; by land, by sea and by air, is flanked by over 50 metres of concrete wall. The Cenotaph is an impressive addition to the community.
With the continuing support and donations from the residents of the community, their friends and families local and area business, organizations and sponsors, the Cenotaph Committee is moving forward with phase two of this project to “Beautify the Park”. This phase will see the majestic Cenotaph Monument surrounded by a beautiful Memorial Park.
A Memorial Park will serve the community as a living tribute to loved ones. Seating areas with benches, trees, shrubs and colourful flower beds will make this park a very special place for all in the community to visit, to reflect and to cherish memories.
