The Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP), an initiative of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH), was first introduced for the 2000 Reporting Year. This program requires municipalities to collect specific data on the following thirteen core municipal services areas: local government, fire, police, garbage, land use planning, drinking water, libraries, roads, storm water, waste water, transit, parks and recreation and building services.
More reporting information is available on the Ministry of Municipal Affairs' website under the Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP) section.
NOTE: The collection of MPMP data was discontinued effective the 2014 reporting year.
