The Municipality of East Ferris is pleased to announce the appointment of Steph Amyotte as the new East Ferris Fire Chief effective September 26^th, 2022. 

Chief Amyotte has been an integral member of the East Ferris Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years, including 6 as an officer.  Amyotte has progressed through the ranks gaining the skills and knowledge required to lead the organization and its members, and has earned the respect of the members of the Department. Prior to his promotion to Chief, Amyotte held the position of Captain and was essential to the Department’s Education and Training Division. In terms of future direction, he has a good understanding of the issues facing fire and emergency services, and the value of attracting, retaining and motivating volunteer members.

Chief Amyotte looks forward to working with Council and the community to advance the Department and prioritizing the safety and well-being of our residents.
