During the strategic planning process, Council deemed the redevelopment of our municipal website as a priority.  With that being said, the new website will be ready to launch in early September. 

The new website will have a section devoted to community events and will operate much differently from past practice.  We will no longer be taking requests from community groups or businesses to create events on our website as you will have the ability to manage your own events through a tool on our website called “Tangr”. This tool is FREE to use!

Tangr is a platform that helps foster community engagement by allowing people to find events and activities in their community. Tangr provides everyone – community groups, organizations, businesses, people – with an opportunity to tell their local community about an event they are planning and invite people to join them.

We are encouraging all community groups and businesses to visit tangr.com to create and upload your events. Our website will automatically update in real time.
